I recently discovered this company while ordering a cardigan as a gift, and I can honestly say I am blown away — both by the quality of their clothing and by the level of personal customer service, which is so rare today.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size and reached out for help with an exchange. That’s when I connected with Zachary, who could not have been more helpful. Since the item was a gift, I decided it would be easier to send the replacement directly to the recipient, and Zachary immediately assured me that it would be taken care of.

Then I made a special request — I wanted to include a handwritten note, so I asked if I could send the note back with my return and have it included with the replacement shipment. I knew this was above and beyond, but Zachary didn’t hesitate. He told me he would personally watch for my return and make sure everything was included.

He did exactly that. He communicated every step of the way, confirmed he received my package and the note, and let me know when the new item was sent. That kind of care and follow-through is something you just don’t see very often anymore.

The Bodega Shawl Cardigan is made from a substantial French terry cloth that feels supremely comfortable and cozy to wear. I appreciate a heavy sweater made from cotton instead of wool. The contrast stitching on the buttonholes adds an eye-pleasing depth to the overall design. I wear a Small (5’10”, 148 lb.). I have the long cuffs doubled back and the length is generous, about midway between waist and crotch. This is a sweater for all occasions: lounging, dining out, socializing, etc. I bought the Natural and am considering another color.
