This Selvedge chore coat was designed to step up your jeans & tee game! Rigid 14oz Selvedge indigo/navy over-dye denim. Inspired by our favorite vintage work and hunting jackets, we use 14oz selvedge denim from Vidalia Mills in Louisiana. lined with 100% wool from American Woolen Mills. Flat felled seams throughout give extra strength. Our custom brass buttons and our signature tobacco key holes. Large patch pockets for your hands with overlay phone/wallet pocket finished with selvedge ID.

    Nico Wool Lined Selvedge Coat is an absolute standout

    The Wies Made Nico Wool Lined Selvedge Coat is an absolute standout, with fabulous craftsmanship and the kind of thoughtful details that selvedge lovers truly appreciate. The indigo x black deadstock Vidalia Mills raw denim is beautiful, offering depth and texture that already hints at incredible future fades. At 14oz, it is technically a heavier fabric, yet it wears surprisingly comfortably and never feels bulky.

    The wool lining strikes the perfect balance, providing warmth without being overly heavy, which makes this an ideal three season coat here in the PNW. The selvedge details really shine, from the front pocket accents to the inside button placket and locker loop, each element feeling intentional and well executed. Every detail reflects care, restraint, and a deep understanding of what makes heritage denim special.

    This jacket is exceptional from top to bottom, and one I will be wearing often. I am very much looking forward to seeing how it evolves and fades with time.

    Fantastic as usual

    Just received this. I also have jeans and the Bodega cardigan. Great quality as always. Soft wool liner. Fit is pretty traditional, not overly fitted.

    Just buy it! Seriously.

    I just checked. I now have 17 pieces from WiesMade. T-shirts, jeans, multiple artcher jackets, a bunch of chore coats, cardigans… they are all great, but this one tops them all. The materials, the fabrication, the fit, and of course the unique design elements. The wool lining is soft and a complementary feature to the coat. You can tell that Nic puts so much thought into every design. And the attention to detail is beyond what you’ll find anywhere else. There is just no reason to leave this in your cart. Just buy it.

    My favorite new jacket!

    Just received my Nico jacket and there’s not enough stars on this rating! As usual WM fabric quality, construction, and design are impeccable! The patch pocket in front is incredibly functional. Above everything this jacket just fits and looks great. Fabric quality is impossible to find anywhere else out there! Well done!
