This Selvedge chore coat was designed to step up your jeans & tee game! Rigid 14oz Selvedge indigo/navy over-dye denim. Inspired by our favorite vintage work and hunting jackets, we use 14oz selvedge denim from Vidalia Mills in Louisiana. lined with 100% wool from American Woolen Mills. Flat felled seams throughout give extra strength. Our custom brass buttons and our signature tobacco key holes. Large patch pockets for your hands with overlay phone/wallet pocket finished with selvedge ID.

FIT & CARE GUIDE

Our tops tend to fit a bit tailored and long. If you prefer a fitted look, order your normal size. If you prefer a little room, size up. Raw selvedge denim will start ridgid and break in with wear. Expect crocking for the first couple of weeks. Dry clean only.

    Nico Wool Lined Selvedge Coat is an absolute standout

    The Wies Made Nico Wool Lined Selvedge Coat is an absolute standout, with fabulous craftsmanship and the kind of thoughtful details that selvedge lovers truly appreciate. The indigo x black deadstock Vidalia Mills raw denim is beautiful, offering depth and texture that already hints at incredible future fades. At 14oz, it is technically a heavier fabric, yet it wears surprisingly comfortably and never feels bulky.

    The wool lining strikes the perfect balance, providing warmth without being overly heavy, which makes this an ideal three season coat here in the PNW. The selvedge details really shine, from the front pocket accents to the inside button placket and locker loop, each element feeling intentional and well executed. Every detail reflects care, restraint, and a deep understanding of what makes heritage denim special.

    This jacket is exceptional from top to bottom, and one I will be wearing often. I am very much looking forward to seeing how it evolves and fades with time.

    What an awesome jacket. It’s a little stiff, but I imagine it’ll loosen-up as it breaks in. Impeccable construction and understated details make this one a classic.

    Awesome Chore Coat

    I'm 5'6 and 155lbs with a 42in chest. I originally ordered the M based on the sizing chart. When I received the jacket and tried it on, it was too big. The M overall in every dimension felt big. However, the jacket itself is very well made. The navy color looks great, it's a very nice dark blue. The lining is a nice touch and also a nice color, the lining adds a level of warmth that denim jackets usually don't have. The craftsmanship and build quality is very nice. The look of the jacket is somewhat of a modern and timeless look.

    I returned the M since there were no S in stock, however; during the return in transit, a S appeared available on the website. I sent customer service an email to exchange the M for the S, they were very helpful and completed the exchange.

    When the S arrived, it fit perfect and looks incredible.
