I couldn’t be happier with my Wiesmade Weekender bag. This is one of those rare pieces where you can immediately tell it was designed and built by people who care deeply about materials and craftsmanship.
The leather is incredible. It’s thick, rugged, and clearly built for a lifetime of use. The 8oz Horween leather has a weight and character that you just don’t find in mass-produced bags, and it already feels like something that will only get better with age. The custom brass hardware and zipper are just as solid and well thought out. Every detail feels overbuilt in the best possible way. 
The interior is just as impressive as the outside. The heavy natural cotton canvas lining feels durable and practical, not delicate or decorative. It’s clearly meant to be used hard, not babied. Every stitch and seam looks intentional and clean; the kind of details you only see in truly handmade gear. 
What makes this bag even more special to me is knowing it’s handmade locally in California from American-sourced materials. It’s rare these days to find something designed, sourced, and built in the USA, and I’m genuinely proud to own it. 
This is not just a travel bag, it’s a lifetime piece. Rugged, beautiful, and built with real craftsmanship. I expect to be using this Weekender for decades.
